Absolute Power. Stephen Fry and John Bird star as spin doctors Charles Prentiss and Martin McCabe in Mark Tavener's comedy series. Having left/being ask to leave the BBC they embark on a new career as spin doctors, and are soon mysteriously at the top of their profession.
Adventures of John and Tony, The. By John Hegley. Four surreal comedy journeys in which John [John Hegley] and his best friend Tony [Simon Munnery] search for happiness, love, the meaning of life and glasses.
After Henry. Sarah France is the 42-year-old widow of a GP, Henry. She lives in an often volatile family situation with her mother, Eleanor Prescott, and her daughter, eighteen-year-old Clare France. After Henry's death, the three generations of women have to cope with one another as best they can, under their shared roof.
Alison and Maud. By Sue Limb. Alison And Maud is a drama sitcom about two sisters who run a Bed and Breakfast in Norwich. Their reclusive bed bound father lives with them and they have an accountant friend called Bernard. Unfortunately the sisters are terrible at running the guest house and the comedy centres on their inability to look after their guests.
Any Bloke. By Gary Brown. Sitcom about the trials and tribulations of life as, well, "any bloke". The stars, Jim Sweeney and Caroline Quentin, had previously collaborated on The Masterson Inheritance; fellow improvisationalist Steve Steen was also in the cast, although this show, for once, had a script, written by Gary Brown. 
Anything Legal. Anything Legal is a comedy radio series by Wally K. Daly. It was first broadcast on BBC Radio in 1984, as eight episodes. Charles and George will provide any service that can legally be provided but they first have to learn how to run a business. Only episode 6 was kept in ther BBC archive, the rest were supplied to the station by a listener.
Ape That Got Lucky, The. In The Ape That Got Lucky, Chris Addison - the thinking idiot's pretend anthropologist - takes us on a journey through the vast and rich subject of human evolution in four comic lectures, and asks the listener if they're a man or a monkey (or a woman or a womonkey, if you're going to be like that about it.)
Attractive Young Rabbi, The. Abraham Fine is the Orthodox Rabbi of the community, but his settled existence is disturbed by the appearance of a brand-new Reform synagogue led by the vivacious Su Jacobs. Jacobs is youthful and decidedly non-traditionalist, and sets out to introduce the Hillsfield community to the internet and the importance of cosmetics. It is through Abraham's long suffering wife, Sadie, that both old and new are gently ridiculed, whilst she keeps the peace.
Baggage is set in the capital of Scotland and centres on the lives of Caroline and Ruth, two (40-ish) friends of preposterous long-standing. Life certainly hasn’t turned out quite as it was supposed to for the celtic pair as they navigate their way through grief and joy in the most surprising situations, but they battle on having moved their original baggage from substantial trunks into roomier skips….. and finally to a more commodious landfill site in the borders. 
Ballylenon, County Donegal Pop.1,999 was founded by St Lenon of Padua, when he fell into the river at this spot in 953. Ballylenon is situated on the shores of Lough Swilly with entrancing views of Muckish Mountain, in the Diocese of Derry and Raphoe. In this society, there exists an uneasy balance of interests. Communication has all the appearances of power, and in Ballylenon, communication means the local Telephone Exchange and Post Office. 
Bleak Expectations. By Mark Evans. A radio comedy aptly described as "a gloriously daft Victorian romp in the style of Charles Dickens after too much gin". The sitcom follows the remarkable adventures of young Sir Philip 'Pip' Bin as he struggles to rescue himself and his sisters from the schemes of his evil and ironically-named guardian Mr Gently Benevolent. 
Bob Servant Emails, The. Brian Cox stars as a 63-year-old hero for our troubled times. Bob Servant is born and bred in Dundee and surveys the city as his natural fiefdom. His extraordinary self-belief stems largely from his dominant position in Dundee's notorious Cheeseburger Wars of the early 1980s - a period of riotous appreciation for the traditional American snack that caused madness on the streets and lined Servant's pockets. Now retired, Bob's searching for a new cause to fill his days, and when he starts getting spam emails he finds what he has been looking for. Bob dusts off his keyboard, takes on the fraudsters, and leads them a very merry dance indeed. 
Boosh, The. Howard Moon and Vince Noir are slightly hapless zoo keepers at the Zoo-Niverse, a place strangely light on animals owned by dodgy business magnate Dixon Bainbridge and managed by a psychologically damaged American named Bob Fossil. Six magical adventures from award-winning comedians Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding.
Brothers, The. Nigel and Michael are brothers. A couple of years ago they gave up respectable careers to set up a website design company together. That was their first mistake.
Burkiss Way, The. is probably the most underrated comedy show ever to be broadcast on BBC radio, especially at tea time. It had everything: regular characters, catch-phrases, a versatile cast and writing that was original and inventive and which, for the first time since The Goons, fully exploited the medium of radio. 
Cabin Pressure. Set in a small airline business, Cabin Pressure is a comedy about the wing and a prayer world of a tiny, one-plane charter airline staffed by two pilots - one on his way down, and one who was never up to start with. Whether they're flying squaddies to Hamburg, metal sheets to Mozambique, transporting lads on a stag night or shifting a panther for the odd oil sheik, no job is too small - but many jobs prove to be too difficult - for MJN Air!
Capital Gains. Comedy series by Collin Johnson about Julius Hutch, who spends his retirement as an amateur philosopher. He has serious money troubles until a banking error turns his world upside down.
Castle, The. A radio sitcom set in a medieval castle. Estate agents, mail order lingerie and the invention of central heating: this is medieval England seen from a 21st century comedy perspective.
Chambers. Clive Coleman's sitcom about questionable practices in the higher courts, set in perhaps the country's least spectacular set of law chambers. Coleman's background as a qualified lawyer ensure the authentic realism in Chambers. 
Clare in the Community. Clare is a social worker with all the right jargon who likes to sort out other people's problems while ignoring her own. She is white, middle class and heterosexual - but doesn't like to be reminded of it. She is a control freak but both her personal and professional lives are out of control.
Consultants, The. In August 2002 three young, largely unknown, comedians took their show to the Edinburgh Fringe where they won the Perrier Best Newcomer Award.
Continuity. Written by Hugh Rycroft. A continuity announcer's booth can be a lonely place - especially on the late shift, when you've barely seen your wife and children for a week. Still, this Radio 4 continuity announcer is a consummate professional, and he's not going to let his own insignificant little problems get in the way of your listening pleasure. Especially when there are so many exciting programmes coming up for him to tell you about. At least, some of them are exciting. Some of them aren't quite his cup of tea, if he's honest, but that's not really the point, is it? They may be right up your street. It's not really his place to express an opinion. Even if it is tempting. This may be a come-down from heady days spent announcing on the Today programme, but he's got a job to do. Though sometimes it is rather difficult to concentrate...
Country Matters. Mike Coleman;s sitcom about a city couple who move to a rural village in the hope of attaining pastoral contentment. 
Dad's Army. The story begins in May 1940 with Sir Anthony Eden’s plea to men to come forward as Local Defence Volunteers. In the fictional town of Walmington, the pompous bank manager George Mainwaring declares himself commanding officer (“Times of peril always bring great men to the fore,”) and gathers together a loyal but incompetent platoon of local men to defend the town against invasion.
Deep Trouble. 2012 - In an increasingly uncertain defence environment, a deadly new arms race has begun. In an attempt to secure her boundaries, Britain has deployed the very latest sub-sea military technology. Beneath and beyond the front line, these are the adventures of the HMS Goliath. A 55,000 tonne M-Class nuclear stealth submarine, prowling 5,000 metres below the surface. Manned by idiots. The idiots in question consist of lunch-loving Captain Paul Wade, old school Commander Alison Fairbanks and the frustrated Lieutenant Jack Trainor (pronounced "Tren-oor" apparently).
Delve Special. Stephen Fry is investigative reporter David Lander whose investigative technique was usually somewhere between the questionable and the illegal. As a result, he often finds himself being set upon physically by those concerned. The programme heavily spoofed the style of topical radio reporters.
Detective Sergeant Nick Mohammed. Comedy by Nick Mohammed set at Tilford Road Police Station. Nick and and his fellow officers attempt to fathom who killed the man with the missing head. With Nick Mohammed, Anna Crilly and Colin Hoult.
Doctor in the House & Doctor at Large. Dramatised by Ray Cooney for radio in 1968 & 1969. A show that was based in a teaching hospital, where the doctors would practicce their trade and also chase nurses and have hilarious adventures. Following in his father's footsteps, Simon Sparrow registers as a doctor-to-be at St Swithin's but soon gets on the wrong side of Sir Lancelot Spratt.
Double Income No Kids Yet is a comedy drama about modern life and parenthood, as seen through the eyes of two thirty-something non-parents living in a world of people with children.
Down The Line. The live, uncompromising phone-in show hosted by award-winning talk radio DJ, Gary Bellamy.
